Puppy Love’s Q & A
Q: Is the meet & greet free?
A: YES!
All meet & greets are complimentary. However, we do understand some dogs are more anxious than others. In these special cases we do offer drop in visits to become more acquainted with one another for an additional price of $30 per 30 minute visit.
Q: When are dog walks available?
A: Our standard walking hours are from 10am-6pm.
However, we do accommodate walks earlier or later for an additional $10 fee.
Q: What kind of animals do you care for?
A: Despite the name of our company, we care for all animals!
Dogs, cats, rabbits, farm animals…you name it!
Q: Upon arrival, if my pet had an accident will you clean it?
A: Of course!
However, if it is a huge accident that takes us over our allotted scheduled time frame of our appointment there will be a $10 clean up fee.
Q: How do overnights work & what is included?
A: A standard basis overnight is from 7pm-8am (hours are flexible)
Upon arrival we will implement their regular nighttime, and morning routine before the departure. During the day, we will leave to take care of other clients, but we guarantee your pet will not be left alone longer than 6-8 hours. If you would like us to provide your pet with a mid-day visit, it will be an additional $30 fee. If this does not fit your needs due to traveling please fill out our inquiry form for a personalized quote.
Q: If I’m unsure of what service fits my needs best, can I contact you for further information/recommendations?
A: Of course! We are always willing to accommodate your pet’s needs the best to our ability & would love to answer any questions you may have.
Feel free to text (908) 670-8486, fill out our inquiry form, or email us at lovethatpuppylove@gmail.com
Q: Do you take on last minute requests?
A: Although we can not guarantee we will have availability we do welcome last minute requests for dog walks only.
Q:How far in advance do you recommend booking for overnight care?
A:Due to the exclusive nature of overnight care needs, we do recommend you book at least 2 months in advance.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: In order to make sure we can best accommodate and take care of all of our clients, we please ask that all dog walking, pet sitting, or drop in visit cancellations are made in a timely manner prior to your scheduled service.
Visits scheduled on a weekday must be made before 8 am. Please do so to avoid being charged the total price of the visit. All weekend dog walks, pet sitting, or drop-in visit cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged the total visit cost as well. As for overnight care, we ask you to cancel your reservation at least ten days before your first scheduled service date.
Q: How do I cancel an appointment?
A: Cancellations can be either made through your client portal through “Time to Pet” or you can text me directly and I will gladly to do so for you.
Walk N’ Train Q&A
Q: What is the Walk N’ Train package?
A: It is the perfect blend of exercise and training.
Your pup gets to burn energy while learning real-life skills out on walks with a professional trainer.
Q: What’s Included?
A: Five visits for $350:
🐶 30-minute Meet & Greet
🦴 Three 45–60 minute Walk N’ Train sessions
❤️ 30-minute Pet Parent Session to teach you everything your pup learned
Q: Why train during walks?
A: Training turns everyday walks into opportunities to build better behavior and confidence.
Walks are where many everyday challenges happen—pulling on the leash, jumping on people, barking, distractions, and more. Training in real-life situations helps your pup learn how to make better choices where it matters most.
Q: What behaviors can you work on?
A: Every plan is tailored to your dog’s individual needs. Your plan could include (but is not limited to) the following:
We can focus on loose leash walking, polite greetings, impulse control, engagement, confidence building, basic obedience, handling distractions, and more. Because every dog is different, every plan is personalized.
Q: Will I learn what my dog learned?
A: Absolutely!
The final session is all about you. We’ll show you what your pup has been working on, demonstrate the techniques, and make sure you feel confident continuing the training at home.
Q: Is this only for puppies?
A: Nope! Dogs from all ages benefit from training.
Whether you have a brand-new puppy or an older dog who needs a refresher, this package is designed to meet them where they are.
Q:How long are the sessions?
A: The meet & greet and parent session are each 30 minutes, while the Walk N’ Train sessions are 45–60 minutes, giving your pup plenty of time to learn and practice.
Q:How do I get started?
A: Simply reach out to schedule your meet & greet! We’ll get to know you, your pup, and your training goals before hitting the ground walking.
